Accepting these terms

By loading or continuing to use character-ai.io, you agree to these terms as they read on the day of your visit. If you do not accept them, close the tab. Continued use is the operative act — no signup or click-through is used.

What this site is

character-ai.io is editorial. It is a third-party guide to the Character AI platform run by Character Technologies. Nothing on this site is customer support for Character AI. If you need account recovery, a payment refund, a chat history export, or any other transactional help with the platform, go to support.character.ai instead. Editorial coverage on this site is opinion and analysis anchored to published sources and the testing method on the methodology page.

Third-party trademarks (Character AI, c.ai+, Charms, Character Technologies, Google Play, App Store and platform names in the alternatives comparison) belong to their respective owners and appear here for reference under fair use. Screenshots of any product referenced remain subject to the terms of the platform pictured.

You are welcome to quote short passages of editorial coverage on this site with attribution and a link to the source page. Republishing full articles or wholesale scraping is not permitted without written agreement.

Accepted use
